A graduate from the RTA School of Media at Ryerson University in Toronto, Chris has honed his production and post-production skills over the years, becoming a true jack of all trades in the fields of filmmaking and photography.

Growing up on the West coast of Canada, the Victoria, BC native developed an eye for photography as a teenager, drawing inspiration from his father and sister, who were both avid shooters. After completing high school, Chris moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he attended Ryerson University’s RTA School of Media. Originally intending on working in sports media, Chris was immediately captivated by the amount of different opportunities that his program offered, and wanted to get involved in as many different projects as possible. Over the course of his four years at Ryerson, he worked on short film projects, live television studio broadcasts, music videos, documentary productions, live music events, comedic sketches, podcasts, and hosted a radio show for three years. It was certainly a well rounded education, and Chris has taken that variety of experience and used it to his advantage in his work today.

Chris has spent his time since graduating Ryerson working primarily in Toronto’s Commercial film industry, starting out as a Production Assistant, and quickly moving up in the ranks, working as an Assistant Production Coordinator, before eventually moving into the Lighting and Grip departments, collaborating with the Director of Photography on shoots to create the best frame possible. He has also worked on long format series, such as DC’s “Titans”, Prime Video’s “Reacher", and CTV’s “Transplant”.

When he’s not working on set, Chris is working on his own photo and video projects, creating photo and video content for businesses, with a focus on content geared towards social media. If you have a project you need made, Chris is the person for the job!
